FYI, renesis's put down around 180 to the wheels in stock form.

As far as the sleeves go, I've been machining them for AZRR in very small production. I think if demand were high enough, they would be able to have a machine shop cnc them, but as of now I am thinking they are only planning on using these on in-house built engines. Please chime in Tom or Glen if I am mistaken..

As for my setup, I'm running a very small half bridge, 9:1 rotors, 4" exhaust, custom intake manifold (15" runners, peak hp at 7500, perfect for the street), autronic 500R, and most importantly a motec M400. I let closed loop have full control on the dyno and it still needed to be adjusted some more, so I think I could've squeezed out a few more ponies. I am happy as it is probably about 230whp from a dynojet, and with high comp. rotors I could have an extra 10-15 hp also..

though this statement is not untrue, i'd just like to perhaps add something to it. from what i've been reading on the 8club board, the 8's neo-fascist computer and dynos don't seem to get along very well. for that reason, though the 180s is clearly what they consistently record, it may not be very accurate. also, i've read where racing teams using engine dynos are getting numbers that don't mesh well with the numbers people get on chassis dynos. i don't care what people may have to say about the 8's tranny, it can't possibly dump that much power between the flywheel and drive wheels.

now, up front i admit i have not researched any new info on 8s and dynos in the last 2-3 months or so because the numbers don't appeal to me as much as other things. however, i'm just saying that 180s may not be accurate based on what i've read.

So you're saying that they put down more than the dyno reads? What would the 8's computer have to do with that?

it's been a while, so bear with me.

if i recall, what some of the guys were saying is that computer (which pretty much puts it's nose into everything, NOT JUST engine management) was seeing the difference between the speed of rear wheels and the stationary front wheels and would start to cut power. there were a few that tried it with the traction control on and off and i believe the results were similar

again, just so we're clear, this is not first hand knowledge on my part. i have an 8, but have not dyno'd it. this is what i read in a few threads over on the 8 Board. i haven't tested or experimented because, i don't really care at this point. perhaps after i get my hands on a spare Renesis and can build one up, then i'll care about numbers - and even then it will be for comparisons not absolutes.

That is correct, only available on motors we build for the time being.
