This is very late notice, but the SCCA is having an informal autocross school in Roswell, NM February 23 and 24. There will be plenty of driving and some instruction. This is a great opportunity for novices to drive in a non-competitive atmosphere. (discussion thread, pre-registration).

 

This was a great event. Stephen and I had 19 runs each the first day. The second day, on Stephen's fifth run, one of our new BFGoodrich gForce T/A KD tires corded. This pretty much ended competitive racing for the rest of the day. Fortunately, the SCCA guys were very nice and let me take a few runs in their cars. The amount of seat time at this event was great for the price, and I look forward to future Roswell events.
