ok this started on rx8club ( mountain forum same title ), we then decided that more rotary power was needed. plz post if your going or not, i will also post more info as i get it.

cruzing to: San Antonio (New Mexico, south of Socorro) for the 7th best hamburger in the country

Yeah, san antonio is about an hour and a half of nothing but straight, boring, southern nm driving goodness. The owl in SA does make a real nice burg though

By the way, I'll be in getting info on FC's for the website michael B posted about. If you have any info I could use I'd appreciate it. I'll see if there's any FD's here, but I've only heard rumors that one guy with lives here with an FD and he's kinda an a-hole from what I've been told.

I'm down for sure! I'll probably just rid along in Philip's third gen though. Doesn't sound too interesting??? How so? It's a great stretch of highway to open up the cars on, a GREAT hamburger (unless you're a vegetarian) and a curvy mountain road back! What more could you ask for? sounds like 7 heaven to me...

Already posted these on rx8club but i figured i would post them here as well. Had fun guys, next time lets go to the crest or something.

 

Well it was long trip but I think a few people got to take their cars faster and for a longer period of time than ever before. I had the round trip at about 245 miles. I'm fortunate to get 22 mpg so the trip wasn't as ruff on the wallet as others. But I'm glad everyone spent the cash and took the time. I really enjoyed it and we should plan on a shorter trip real soon. Top of the sandias is always a fun one. Everyones cars looked great. We sure turned a lot of people's heads.

 

We sure did! Remember that lady that drove by and said, "I want one! Can I have one?"

 

simone - you should have told her that the OLDSPEED would give her one, as he's got one! FD that is!

 

I had a awsome time guys.....it was like christmas for me i couldnt even sleep the night before i just wanted to let everyone know that i really enjoyed the meet and am looking forward to the next one~!!!!

 

It was such a good time. Meeting all of you guys was nice. Would do it a hundred more times. Here are some pics I edited. I have a ton more, and have full High Res. of all these if anyone wants.
