My brother and his girlfriend probably wont be going either. The Bullet is on its way to retirement, and he's not into rotaries anymore.

At this point a reschedule might be a better option. Perhaps for sometime in July?

Wait, what is this about?! I'm down for a cruise or a rescheduling. The only weekend in July I will not be available is the last weekend.

This is scheduled on Father's Day, I'm sure a lot of people have plans for that.

Yeah...my brother won't be driving the Bullet much longer. It has a lot of small issues that he doesn't want to deal with anymore, and it will never be race worthy.

I see. I guess he's deciding to move on. That can be understandable. Hey, if you ever decide that you need to junk it or something let me know...I just might take it off your hands as a parts car. I want to do a GSL-SE front and rear-end swap on my GS.

Also, how is that rebuild coming along? How hard was it doing it all yourself? I've decided I want to eventually rebuild my 12A myself (probably real later in the future since it has a Mazda factory built new motor with only 60K) and bridgeport it with an upgraded carb and fuel pump.

We'll probably keep the Bullet around for a while, but if it ever has to go, I'll let you know.

The rebuild is complete. It was tuned by Steve Kan on Saturday. Unfortunately, the VDI was put in backwards, and the car couldn't make power past 5300 RPM. The tuning session went well though. The car makes 120 RWHP at 5300 RPM which is 3 RWHP better than it was making at 8000 RPM just a few months ago. I'm installing the VDI correctly this time, and I'll finish the tune myself.

The rebuild wasn't difficult, but it was very time consuming. Expect a few days worth of work. I spread it out over 2 months and still ran out of time.

I might actually be able to be registered and insured by then. . .in which case i just might make it. As the time draws closer, i'll be more certain either way.

The third Sunday in July. What time are you guys going to meet? If I get back from Taos early, and feel up to it, I might make it out.
