Unhappy

None that I know of. There used to be two good shops but one mysteriously vanished and the other guy decided to work on Porsches instead. Get ready to do your own tinkering!

There aren't any shops out here I'd trust to work on an FD, from a mechanical perspective. However, MAC Autosport out in Parker does tuning. They don't specialize is rotary cars, but the tuner there used to own an FD and supposedly does good work.

Beware of MAC, they did some damage to a friend's FD. There is a reason the guy who owned one sold it...

Yeah, I've heard good and bad things about MAC. What happened to your friend's FD? Never heard bad things about their tuning except that their dyno produces artificially high numbers. I thought the tuner sold it because he wanted something different...? Don't know him personally or anything, that's just what I heard. However I don't know if I'd trust my FD to get tuned there just because of how special they are...

I was doing some research on Vechicle inspections, and I read we have to get smog checked? is that right? I have a 93 Rx7 FD highly modified. No way in hell, will I pass in emissions. Can someone give me some adivce what can I do? Going to Peterson AFB.

I don't know if this applies to Peterson but in Fort Carson you don't to register your vehicle anymore. Even when you had to smog test wasn't required.

no smog testing in CO springs. I drive my rx7 in the winter on nice days...just to keep it running.

I don't think there is many places to tune......I suggest trying to get a group together and flying Steve Kahn out and tuning all our cars.......
