Moving to Albuquerque, NM

I'm moving from cloudy Dayton, OH to sunny Albuquerque, NM in June! I've had one of my RX-7s (93 FD) since Apr 01, but I hope to sell it before I move. My current ride is a 94 base that I swapped an LS3 into.
Here's a vid:

Anyway, looking forward to meeting some of you guys down there and hope you'll overlook my new choice of engines.

Is there much of an auto-x scene down there? Or any road courses near by?

Later

We have autox and we have a track look up sandia motor speedway. It just changed owners but the site is not up yet for the new one, last I checked. We have a few LS swapped FD's out here and right now I am slowly putting together my LS1 to swap into my FD project. Look forward to seeing that LS3 swap.

welcome, long as you have a FD we don't turn our noses up to a fellow RX7 driver

what we don't like is people trying to think there better over the crew cause we all look out for each other and help each other out time to time.

you'll have lots of track time with some high powered cars to challenge you at Napa Speedway...plenty auto x's and we even have a drag strip if you feel the need

None of that here. Wrenching and helping people out is a good time in my book. I was helping SgtBlue replace his 5th gear synchro the first time I met him.

I was looking at your for sale thread the other day. It's nice! Looking forward to meeting you. We'll need to throw together a meet when you get here.

I have to be down there for work by the end of June but I don't think I'll get my car there or get permanent housing arranged until sometime in september.
