Does anyone have an idea when the march meet is going to be. I know that it will take a bit for everyone to get running and such, and the month of march is fast approaching.

 

I'd like to see a mid-Feb meet. I'm gonna be home then and havent seen most of you guys cars in years.

 

Too bad we won't be here anymore. But we are planning a going away Party on the 3rd it looks like. We don't know where yet, but it's probably going to be somewhere like dave and busters or somethng like that.

 

Hmmm, well a march meet would be nice but I wont be running until we get that tune...

 

March or Feb?

 

I'll show up for any meet, but i don't think my car will be running anytime soon. I'm hoping for late march early april at this point.

 

I got lots of body work to get done once Uncle Sam pays me. Then I should be ready around mid to late march.

We are leaving the 9th of Feb it looks like right now.

 

I can do March, I can't do Feb. I also need that tune. I need more time to do things. Oh and some heat outside would be nice!!

 

Well I'm shooting to be home sometime in mid-Feb. I'd like to just set up something small. Just a meet and greet or something. I've never met most of you guys.

 

That sounds like a good idea to me. Cars optional...but that seems to be at every meet.

Why don't we just have the meet in conjuction with the tune, even if you aren't getting a tune just come and bullshit while the tune is going on...just an option, I'm sure we'll have plenty of meets...I wont have my car running until Mid February, but it wont be running right until the tune, but I'm down for a carless meet just to meet everyone, but it depends on the day...i work most saturdays

 

I think that is a good idea, I am uncertain if this is seomthing I NEED before I can drive with confidence or not, not a whole lot of experience with it. I am getting the Power FC and Intake, I let RX-7 store know what mods and that I am at altitiude and it is my understanding that they will provide the base map needed, have not received a whole lot of "confidence building" communication from them on my questions. Anyone have any info on this? If I go ahead and install myself will I be OK until a tune? Thanks

 

Both of my FDs are up right now. But hopefully the VR will be sold soon. I just wanna get together sometime. I've been in the desert for 13 mnths and need some rotary love.

 

I hope I can make it. Engine is coming along nicely, hopefully Jim and I will be done by mid-Feb.

I'm ordering the jspec T2 engine on Monday. If it's in good shape and doesn't need a rebuild, i might be good for a March meet.

We could certainly have some kind of gathering in Feb like at a bar some weekend. I'd be up for that. The large Spring meet should be in March/April.

 

Yeah Im not out or anything, still stationed at Ft. Benning, GA. Just gonna run home the evening of the 16th then head back to GA on the 20th. The night of the 18th isnt good for me. But other than that I'd be happy to just a have a few beers with you guys whenever, wherever. Cars optional.
