Keystone, Co
Hi guys, im trying to plan a trip to keystone, Co this december to go skiing. What place do you guys recommend staying at? I was looking at a place in river run village, any comments on that place? Is everything within walking distance? Like the gondola and resturants and bars? Hows the night life there too? Im planning it sometime in early december like maybe the first 2 weeks of december. Hows the snowfall at that time? Or should i just plan it in january.

Hey,
I'm from Denver, and most of my skiing has been day trips, so I don't spend too many nights up at the resorts. I'll check around to see what's what as to which areas have good night life and such, if you'd like. In any case, the weather here could literally be snowy one day and 50-60 degress the next, so it's hard to tell. Our snowiest month is typically March, with sunny days right after snow storms. So the dates are really a wash considering weather.

DONT come first 2 weeks in December, this year keystone had their **** somewhat together by that time but really you should wait till January or even February but thats also the busier and more expensive time of year - because you might come to see no snow and no terrian parks open and be bummed
--- you shouldn't have too much problems walking might have to get a cab though you never know and theres definantly plenty bars etc i lived up in a ski town last year but it was steamboat not keystone

I disagree, early December is a great time to come out, snow is usually fairly good around then.
