FS: 88' convertible
FS: 88' convertible
selling my 88' convertible, in golden, CO. runs and drives good. black w/ blue interior. $1800 obo. I think around 140k miles... I will have to check tomorrow.
the bad:
-car has a salvage title, and its in a name from about 4 years ago. it was never transferred over properly when someone bought it, so if you want to register it, you'll have to go through a process of doing a VIN search, and some other stuff. I was going to do this and use it as a DD, but I blew the motor in my race car, so I need to pay for that first.
-front right fender is primered black.
-right rear fender is dented a little.
-pass side window doesn't work
-top leaks a little above the front windows, and has 1 small tear in it.
-radio surround is broken.
paint is 'ok'. looks like a maaco job. but shines when its washed/waxed. front tires are blad, but I've got some other tires to put on them. rears have a lot of tread left. has manual steering (de-powered power rack) if you would prefer power steering, I can find parts for it and install them.
air conditioning WORKS!. shocks seem good, and brakes work well. the stock convertible wheels are in near perfect condition, with just a 'slight' area of curb rash on one, but its hardly noticeable. all 4 wheels have centercaps. driver side power window works, power mirrors work. engine runs great, clutch is Brand new (probably less than 1k miles on it). transmission shifts good.
top works fine (sometimes needs a little help). all electronics work, minus the usual wiper switch on a few settings).
interior is... well, it needs some work. there are some holes cut in the rear deck for aftermarket speakers. and the speaker/speaker cover out of the drivers door is missing. (I have the speaker, but it doesn't work). cd player needs a bracket to mount to. and the surround is cracked.
all in all, its not bad for a 20 year old car, but def. not perfect.
I could only find these crappy pictures right now. will get better ones tomorrow.
