Does anyone do porting in the Denver Metro area?
I was just wondering if anyone in the area here would do n/a 6-port porting, or know of anyone who does...thanks a lot.
Are you looking to have it done professionally? Tony Rivera works at Apex,

Tony races and builds his own cars very successfully. If you want to talk to him you can just drop by at Rotary Specialists at Raritan of Evans. He works with his brother in law there during the week.
He is expensive if that is what you mean. He wouldn't do a bridge for me. Why don't you post on the yahoo group Mile High Rotary Club. There are a couple of guys who do porting. It will be more of a garage job but much cheaper.

i think i'll ask around on the MHRC site as well, good idea.
what do you we mean when we are talking about expensive? i am currently under the impression that the average streetport costs from 2-300 or so. i am on a budget, but where exactly the budget goes is still very much up in the air.
purple82- any specifics that you might have on some of the cars that he has done would be awesome, such as the power, the style of port and relevant mods. or just the name of any owners on the forum, and i can do the research myself...
btw, thanks everyone

He built my Street Port S5. I told him I wanted a very mild port job to keep it emissions legal and to keep low rpm driveability. The engine dyno'd at 170 rwhp in Denver (about 200 fwhp), at sea level that would be about 200rwhp. The engine work was much more than $300 but he built up the entire engine, he didn't just port plates and hand them back.
It's probably best to call Apex and talk to Tony directly to find out if he can do what you want.
