So have been collecting rx7's since before i had a licance ...between my boyfriend and i we have one of each 2nd gen(convert,TII,GXL,GTU ect..).....we have been looking for another tII for a while now and i thought i had found one

Here in colorado springs i drive down a street named boulder every day before school and there just happened to be a porshe white with pearl over it TII.So of course i got overly excited and stopped and looked in the windows and was totaly ready to buy it....there was a long list of restorations....like 3000$ worth not including the new motor.....the price on it was like $6200 and of course thats crazy but hey i gave her the benifit of the doubt and figuared that maybe this car was really all new like it said it was ...so i called the phone nuber and after a week of phone tag i got to see it....the girl claimed that she had redone everything and that it was turbo.....she poped the hood and it was freaking N/A i was so pissed...... anyways just thought i would let you guys know so that no one else wastes there time on this liar!!!! big dissapointment!!!

 

Is it all dressed up like a TII with a bodykit? I see one like that around the Springs often, but it might not be the same one since it's driven by some kid at PPCC.

I see that car almost everyday and it looks great, but the price is what stopped me from calling the number. I can't believe that it is not a turbo. Did you tell her that it was not turbo? Thats a nice looking car though. did you test drive it? I would probobly only pay 3,000 for that max.

 

yeah i got to drive it...it was nice...really nice exsept the fact that it wasnt what it was supposed to be you know....i would love to have it ,,its a beautiful car ....hell yeah i told her that it was n/a then she claimed that it was set up for it....yet no oil lines were ran for the turbo and no computer ect.....it was bullshit but otherwise the car would be nice N/A but nice!!!!! lol!!!!!

It's not the one I was thinking, but it is definitely nice. I would consider it a good candidate for a TII swap.
