By all means, come down. Sign up and try it out. We have a much smaller turn out than the SCCA events. It's a good opportunity to try it out.

I've got an open waste gate on my FC with a GT35r will that be too loud for the event, the rest of the exhuast is a racing beat and rather quiet. Not sure if it would be ok at an SCCA event because I just finished the car and have never run it at any type of event.

Thanks
John

As much as we wish to have LOTS of cars, we have to respect PPIR's needs as well as the neighbors on the ridge. (They live next to Ft.Carson)?? Please be realistic. If you think it's too loud, we probably will too.
My car feel/sounds loud from inside, but it's never violated the SCCA's levels.
If we don't have a sound meter on site, we will be judging it subjectively.

RX 7 Chris

Chris,
Since the change at Colorado Mazda Club a couple weeks ago, I haven't been able to log in.
Please post something about the PPSCC event on that site. And come down yourself!
Thanks,
Mark

Cones suck! Come out to the CSP track that same day! Well, I guess the price is a lot more expensive though!

Talking Post event

You missed a great time.
With my club's smaller draw, we had 5 timed runs, then 2-3 fun runs.
A fun, fast course with a pretty wide selection of cars playing in the sun. A very fast, well driven SM Miata was fun to watch. Mustangs, Miatas, Corvettes and oh yeah, 2 first gens.
Results here: http://www.ppscc.net/smf/index.php?topic=277.0
I hope next time we will have more RXs come out.
I didn't have any problem with cones.
