almost back together!
Well some of you might know my rx failed emissions earlier this month. I figured the cats had been gutted since it was registered in rio rancho. Turns out they were just clogged to hell. We are hopeing for better numbers this time around. I have installed a racing beat header, high flow cat, plugs, wires, o2 sensor, thermostat, and currently putting some of the emission junk(air pump) back on to it aswell(thanks junkyard ). Hopefully it will be back together tomorrow so I can go to the last autocross for this year on sunday.

Good luck passing emissions. So you're gonna try to make the Sagebrush autox? I'm not sure if I'll be there. My brother's car is down with suspension and brake issues, and my car's drivetrain is breaking. I might go anyway though since it's the last local autox.

Aren't you using a high flow cat, or are you trying to revert everything to stock? My stock cat doesn't have flanges. The exhaust pipes bolt straight to the cat body. However, my high flow cat does have flanges since it's quite a bit smaller than the stock cat. Not sure if I'm telling you any useful information. Do you have any pics?

I am using the package rx7.com sells. RB header with bonez high flow cat. From what I have read and seen other cars where the cat back starts there should be a flange. Mine was one piece from the 2nd cat to the muffler tips.
I might just run to the junk yard in the morning as I know there is a 2nd gen with a stock cat back which would let me bolt it right in to my cat. I am getting pretty good at pulling them off now lol.

If you end up going to the junkyard anytime soon, could you check if they have a set of s4 or s5 GXL wheels. They are 15x6 +40ET offset. I might race in a stock class next season, and I will need a set of stock wheels to mount some really sticky rubber on =). Thanks.
