I'm making a cross site post between RX7 and RX8 Clubs in order to gain the attention of fellow driving enthusiasts. This post caters to the populations of Alamogordo NM, Holloman AFB NM, Las Cruces NM, Fort Bliss TX, and El Paso TX. Due to our unique geographical location we find ourselves closer to the mountains of Cloudcroft, Ruidoso, and Arroyo Seco Motorplex. For Alamogordo this puts us closer to El Paso than Albuquerque. We have a group of individuals in Alamogordo interested in spirited mountain driving and potentially attending events at the Arroyo Seco Motorplex. If you are interested in hanging out with fellow auto enthusiasts please coordinate through these threads. For those newly PCSed I have found that many of the events in Las Cruces NM can be found via http://crucesstreets.com If anyone has any additional info in regards to event news in this region please feel free to post the url.

Gauging interest in a drive from Alamogordo to Ruidoso for lunch or dinner at Café Rio. Soft date is 12May2012.

 

I'd love to do a run but, my 7 is not ready for a doso run I could go for a run to cloudcroft however or an in town meet and greet.

 

I just took a cruise through Cruces, White Sands, and Alamogordo monday to break in my motor. Theres a strip between Cloudcroft and Timberon that i'm interested in hitting next weekend possibly before i head back to georgia on leave.

 

If you do be sure to propose a time. I have another RX8 and a 350Z that might be interested in a cruise. If they back out I'm always down for a meet and greet. After the 23rd I'll be away on business till the 4th. I would like to get to stretch my legs before I go.

 

I might ride back up that way this weekend. I'd like to put a few more miles on my motor before i take the trip back to georgia.

 

I'll pm you my number in the event you drive buy. I'm doing nothing but welding a Buddy's Monte Carlo.
