MoTeC

Hey Guys...we are building a crazy 13B, but don't have much MoTeC support here in the states.

I was wondering if anyone can give me a base map for a 13B so we can at least have a baseline.

I'm familiar with Haltech, so I think if I take a look at a MoTec map that is known to run a 13B I'll have a much easier time tuning.

Thanks in Advance!!

(ps don't laugh at the mock up Honda powered IC, haha!)

While I haven't dealt with him specifically on Motec matters, Phil Laird at Graphic Skills Racing in Queensland is pretty much the man on rotaries and that particular brand of ECU, pretty forthcoming with info too, without it seeming to much of a burden talking to some anonymous dick on the end of the phone.

Another possibility, Ken Douglas - used to race rotaries and was a product development engineer for Motec - now works for

Not too sure how kindly they take to staff being questioned about stuff outside their employ, but I'm sure he could either give you the info or point you in the direction of someone who does.

Would have thought Motec USA or Australia would have a base map for you, or do you have to take out a second mortgage to get that feature enabled.
