5 bar map setup M2R

ok ive just purchased the 5 bar unit from motec (53006) , now wondering how to set up the tables correctly .
1 , sensor calibration .. is that found in my "sensor setup" box , and if so i just set it to -1
2 , now it gets tricky :P , 0 pressure AD value ? , does that mean i go to the "sensor cal tables" and go into "manifold pressure" , and if correct the very first box (0) i enter the value 103 and then "interpolate horizontal row "
the ECU then makes its own numbers for all of the remaining boxes .

Is this correct and am i missing something

What is the *pressure AD value mean (500/895) , and where do i set it if need be in my M2R , as i cant find anything relevant in my setup tables to enter the numbers ?

thanks brad

if i read you correctly
then methinks the ecu needs to know what voltage ( AD value ) is happening from your new sensor at the 0 psi boost point
if so power the map sensor up with 5V , no nipple attached and find out what the output value is, enter that at the 0 psi table and interpolate

yeh that was the correct thing to do Paul, the guys at motec filled me in on the rundown, only problem is now the car is most probably never going to see the track for years now, im mucking around with a nitro funny car team and doing the clutch is my main concentration, plus my workshop being Pro race has closed down, so ive got to find someone to be able to finish of the custom work i needed to be done , basically i couldnt be stuffed anymore .
I hate the fact that the rotary needs to be custom everything .....

+1

That is why I spent more on the wire harness than I did with the actual unit itself!

same , the new wiring harness i have sitting to make has all the flash connectors and all quality sensors , and even down to the heat shrink and shielding its all costly, but unfortunately its all just sitting on the back seat of my tow car , i havnt even looked at my race car for over a month now . meh
