MI Woodward Dream Cruise August 19th 2017

Go to our local club for the latest updates. Woodward Dream Cruise Aug 19th, 2017.

This is the world's largest automotive one day event, which unofficially last for about a week, I live in the area and Woodward is the place to be for the entire month of July and August pretty much.

This year it is Saturday August 19th. we will be out at the lot again all day. come on out and park your car (if you have one) and sit and watch cars. we will have the grill again and will provide hot dogs, brats and burgers so please feel free to bring something or just provide a donation for food and the Porta john. If you have any questions please contact Richard (248)568-1745 or Charity (248)568-7755 or feel free to PM me here. Also we will be out the Sunday before to clean up the lot and to put up fencing, so if anyone can come out to help that Sunday let us know, as of right now not sure on what time.

The address to the parking lot is: 99 Murray St Pontiac, MI 48342

Tell us what your bringing so we know what to expect, RX cars and rotary powered cars will get the best parking spots, followed by other cruise cars. You can tell us on our local club forum Woodward Dream Cruise Aug 19th 2017

You can personally contact me via PM if you'd like. I was hoping to have my 1986 GXL turbo swapped car there, but looks like it's going to have to be the 1991 vert again.

Innisfil woman dies after fiery Michigan crash | CTV Barrie News

A drunk driver rear ended one of the first gens, put the car into a wall, and the female passenger passed away. Driver of the F-150 was intoxicated. RIP to the passenger and I hope the driver makes it. I was shocked to hear of this.

It was a Canadian couple, apparently the guy is in hospital. Not sure what we can do to help, but this is just horrible news.

I read this recently too, I believe he had a boosted 383 first gen, and was on his way home that night on the interstate. I would have loved to see his car and meet them. This is extremely saddenning. I don't think he knew about the event we hosted though, considering how large the Cruise is and how far it spreads.
