Woodward Dream Cruise
Woodward Dream Cruise
For those of you that are interested in a good place to make your 'home base' for the Dream Cruise, take a look at this link. It's an empty lot right on Woodward/Widetrack in pontiac. People are bringing food, drink, sides. Add your name to the pole. The more the merrier.

I am organizing the event. I need to make sure i have a head count of who is going to show up and with what. Woodward is completly packed for the entire stretch. Post in the forum or send me an e-mail saying you will be there. For those who have posted in the MIrotaryclub.net forum I already have you accounted for.
Those who have not posted and want to park with other 7's and 8's. please let me know.

I tried getting back into the lot after the cruise but the enterance was blocked by the guys next to us. (Not just one car parked in the way, many cars.) I had to get back so I backed all the way down the street to turn around. Kind of rude of them. There was plenty of parking on the street down at the end of the block.
It was a great time. I will be back for future meets. (Even though it was a long drive from my house.)

The croud in Pontiac was ENTIRELY different than the Birmingham area. And we saw a drug deal
I didn't notice any lackluster aspects to the cruise. Seemed pretty damn populated! Some "old timers" have taken early retirements from GM and Ford in the past year, but I would expect that they were still there. There was no shortage of vehicles.
