blown motor 3rd gen. went to Speed and Sound, they gave me an estimate, and said i should go powerFC, rotary performance streetport, hks t51r, all fuel and injectors upgraded. said they could get me in the 400whp on pump gas range but the price was HIGH.

then talked to Ron at axis motorsports, he can get me a mild race port, wants me to go Halteck all the way.

then called ron at D&R, he had the best estimate but with his own turbo af61 that he built for the 7. he suggests power fc too. and he builds the engine to almost raceport himself with 3mm seals.

anyone around creve coeur mo that can tell me or help me with whcich shop to decide on>?

i need a new motor, ecu, fuel pumps and fuel system upgrade, and a nice single to ATLEAST as a minimum get 450whp on pump gas. if so write back . i don't know who to go to. and i don't know how good D&R is with building thier own motors and turbo setup as compared to name brand like HKS and GREDDY.

what do you all think about SPeed and sound??

I made 533rwhp last year and shooting for 650 rwhp this year.

 

on pump gas or race gas?

 

Race gas.......... I wouldn't mess with anyting above 16-17 psi on pump gas.
