Transmission rebuilder in MI?
Does anyone know of a transmission rebuilder that specializes in RX7 or import transmissions in Michigan, Indiana or Ohio?

Theres a trans shop here in freeland right on 47 that i havr heard ALOT of good things about
There apparantly also a old guy at McArdle in midland that really knows his transmissions, but, he works at his own pace.
All A's in midland are AWESOME guys, the owner is really down to earth
Really close to you is Standish transmission, they built the trans in my brothers 94 cougar (302, with a c4 trans and c6 internals and manual shift body) and him and i beat the **** out've that transmission and motor and it holds up well
And tawas huh? Thats the closet member i've met on here

I have a non-turbo transmission, and while I could do a TurboII transmission swap (and it's a much stronger transmission that can handle a lot more power), the swap requires a TurboII flywheel and counterweight, Turbo Starter and an adapter driveshaft. Frankly, if I'm doing all that, it owuld make sense to swap in a TurboII differential and halfshafts. That's not in the budget to do.
