I for one would really like my car retuned in the next few months. I had it tuned by Steve Kan in June 2009, but would be happy to do another tuning session with any reputable tuner. I'm in Wisconsin, but am very happy to drive to any neighboring state for a legendary tune sesh. Anyone else still spending money on these cars???

 

I think we have Gabby Skern Scheduled to come up to Springfield MO and do tuning. Sometime in April/May I believe.

 

I have had some pms about bring Kan to Cedar Rapids IA again. If there is enough interest I could set it up for this spring.

 

no way ryan, we're bringing steve to chicago :P. we got 2 speeding tickets the last time we came to iowa

 

You just need to learn to avoid the cameras. Guess we'll see if there is any interest and where the interest is.

The Cedar Rapids area is fine with me. I'd like to be tuned by the end of May, so any time during April thru mid-May is sounding nice. I can be ready sooner, but I'd rather not risk a cold snowy weekend for a tuning sesh. I would pay my deposit right now if a session was ready to be booked

 

Nothing solid yet, but if 5 people are willing to send a deposit I will get with Steve and make it happen.

 

i would be down to get my car tooned, but still need some stuff to do to it. so idk it it will be done in the next month.

I am wanting to setup a session in Chicago. I have contacted steve and would look at late april for a time. Need at least 5.

And how much would the deposit be?
And after that, would it depend how much more on how hard the car was to tune?

Tuning costs:

$350 - Stock Turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$400 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 16psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$450 - Aftermarket Turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only) 1 map
$600 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps

On all tuning sessions there is a Non-refundable $200 deposit.


Dyno will be 75/hr.

 

I'm still in for wherever, whenever. I just want this to happen by May 12-13 weekend, as the Wisconsin Dells Automotion car show is the following weekend. My checkbook is on standby. Lets pick some dates and get this show on the road...

I am shooting to do a tuning session in Chicago, but if we can't get enough people in Chi-Town, I am up for Cedar Rapids again. Just went BNRs, Front Mount and a slew of new goodies, including a new fuel system.

I couldn't care less if this goes down in Chicago or Cedar Rapids, as I'm the same distance from either place. I just want to tune by the May 12-13 weekend or sooner. I guess my vote is for the cheaper dyno rate
