As some of you may know I bought a Miata and have not been as active here as I had been. We used to do a RX7 meet every month or so, I miss them. Also, the Miata group meets Monday evening and I have to work Monday evening.

So, Sunday August 18 4pm Shawnee Mission Park Shelter 8. Be there or be square. (If that date sucks we can rearrange, nothing is set in stone.)

I will try to get the Miata guys involved.

3 hour drive for me. I'd love to make it but my 7 is riddled with issues at the moment. I do have the day off of work so I might pop by in my DD as long as nothing serious comes up.

 

Glad to see you back Hank. As usual mine's in pieces at the moment. Combining the Miata and Rotary guys is a good idea IMO. The Miata's a fun car and it's always interesting to see what others are up to.

 

I not sure I'll be in the Miata, I might bring the new toy if its up and running by then.

Meet will continue as planned! Apparently there is a huge meet (separate of ours) today, if they are still there we can crash (figuratively) their meet.

 

So my clutch hydraulics decided to take a huge s*** on my parade and kill themselves. Think it's the slave, gonna try and sort it out, but if not I'm gonna be M.I.A. tonight.

 

Just showed up to scout the place, there is a huge meet at the ball fields, nowhere for us to park, drive past them to shelter 8

 

I injured my hand over the weekend so sadly Saddler's and driving in general won't work out . Which is too bad because I really haven't autocrossed or karted much this year and have been having a racing itch to scratch. If any of you guys ever decide to go karting though just hit me up via PM and I'll see if I can make it...last couple time I went had some terrible drivers including one that bashed me up good because he was swerving back and forth a lot trying to block people. He did eventually get black flagged, but by then the runs were over. I think my funnest Saddler's was the first one I ever went to with raindog...nice open track, fast drivers for me to follow, and nobody wrecking into me.

 

Damn. I spent most of the day getting my 7 put back together and it still won't start. If you guys do a spring meet I'm down though.

 

I live in the Wichita area and I would love to drive up if you guys organize another meet before the end of the year.
