Swap in Chicago
Ah spring has come to the city. I have a week off starting this friday and I will be doing a full 5 lug swap and alot more. So If you have some time and want to turn some wrenches or crack jokes about Hondas shoot me a pm and come help out a fellow rotorhead. BYOB or whatever I don't care. Plus there's gonna be some leftover stuff for sale.

It's going to be going on all week. The week-end is just the start of this maintenance marathon. Swapping everything from the flywheel back. Lots of wiring including battery relocation. Interior swap, pretty much everything except the dash. And if I get around to it swap the front suspension....in a nutshell making an na into a T2. Lots of fun.

I don't think I need any tools. I did an engine swap a little bit ago so I have alot of tools layin around. I've got a pretty good little compressor, it takes flywheel nuts off so it's good enough for me.
Might need another set of jackstands tho....

I'm sure they'll be something to do on wednesday....There'e always something that can be fixed or replaced.
You sound like you're on a mission boosted...I got not problem with that. Maybe we can set some kind of swap record....

Lets see stuff left;
install trans
intall driveshaft
swap dash
swap interior
relocate battery to bin
swap front suspension (if i find new struts)
swap sunroof
swap hatch
swap headlight motors
there's a little more but I can't remember since I'm not in the garage right now. Still lots of stuff to do.

I agree. Rotorheads should meet more often.
As for the swap it's all pretty much done. I didn't do the front yet since I need new shocks. Here's the new hotness as boosted would say...

The doughboy goes where I go....
I'm always down for a local meet even if it's just to bullshit.
I got some duals put on it now and it sounds like a rotary now.
