I put down 322hp on 9lbs. We were having wastegate problems, it kept blowing open. I had a good time meeting everyone and thanks for the help guys.

 

Dude, I thought it was a chick too............... and it kept moving/twitching too fast to get a good eye on it. At one point, it looked like a black bill clinton with a buckwheat afro. But, not sure man. I was frightened.

i ended up puttin down 396 @ 15lbs. that's close enough to 400 for me. on a cold night i'll consider it 400 anyways.

i've got video and a few pictures of me, Gohan, and busted7. i was busy drinking or (uselessly) pulling my DP off so steve could weld a bung that i later found out was not necessary, which is why there's only 3 cars on vid.
I'll try and edit the video later tonight and have it up tomorrow.

everyone needs to get there asses in gear for summer mods cause kan said he's down for another fall tune. and maybe this time the Mad Dog himself will have an rx7 there....instead of a CX-7

tony- next time around......we'll drink more and get 30psi. we just gotta make steve drink too. you should have thao bring the s14 and put a tune on that too.

edit: hey charlie, what plugs are you running right now? steve told me to move up to a 10.5 to help with breakup up top. said to make sure they were the "R" version.

 

Yea, I dropped out cause I broke my leg and also can't work right now because of it so no $ for me. I will be running the car at Gateway Raceway on May 6th when I get back in town (only for a week before returning to FL for summer classes ) but hopefully she will see a mid 10 second pass on the new rearend and some C16.

 

heck yeah, I need to get my little buggy going soon.

and yeah, eric, after i got back to nate's we went out for a few pulls and after i got on it, he suddenly starts tellin me to back off. my knock was reading 80-85. called steve and ended up gettin it all figured out. he checked it out and said it was just a lot of noise due to break up w/ ignition and i guess i've just got a noisy motor.

now that's a tuner for ya: goin for 3rd gear pulls at 12:30 when your flight leaves at 6:00. thanks again kan

You were the guy with the really old plugs right? Just go get some $5 autozone 10.5 motorcycle plugs and it works out perfectly. Also when Kan tuned my car, I too had a "noisy" engine was my knock meter would go nuts but steve said it would be fine and there are about 7k miles on the motor so he knows what he is talking about.

Those 1600cc primary injectors are a pain to adjust. You are either in the 11's in A/F or 15's in A/F. There's no in between. Next time around, I will see if there's anything we can do to get the driveabliity better.
