I may be bringing my car down to get tunned as well. Im not sure yet but I will let the right person know. I just got my car finished by Steve Kan on friday. I have to get the motor broke in first then Steve said he would tune it all the way. Im going to do my best to get it broke in at the little misc things taken care of. Hope to see you IL Steve.

I;m about ready, I have the 6al in and a new set of plugs. New boost hoses showed up also. (look good). Might get a new O2 sensor this week too. Can't wait to get this sucker tuned again.

Also, if anybody has a video camera, please bring it. It'd be nice if we got vids of the action.

Everyone needs to make a checklist before Steve Kan arrives. This is what he said in an earlier post.

"Here're some items to inspect/replace before the dyno. New plugs (less than 1k miiles), new fuel filter (less than 5k miles), inspect spark plug wires, oil change, full tank of whatever gas you normally run, inspect tires (no nails or anything that can fly out during the dyno), inspect coolant fluid (change if necessary), clean air filter, put all the mods in that you plan to run before coming to the dyno (I don't think there'll be enough time to install them on the same day)."

If you want to be added to the list, please let me know asap.

I know you had asked earlier about dyno time and your previous dyno deposit. I just didn't have a good answer for you since they went out of business. Kind of a weird deal.

It's 80/hour at this new place. If you explain the situation to them, you might be able to get a discount rate. But, I just don't know..

I got the outside of the car cleaned to a semi acceptable level. I'm now 99% ready. I think I will be bringing the woman with too. That way she can cart me and others around if we become intoxicated, plus I have her finances to fall back on if I run out of cash. I sill see if the roommate will borrow out his digital camera as well

Yeah, he closed the shop and sold his dyno so that he can finish his masters degree.

What time do you think you'll arrive?

Oh, well that's good. At least it went out of business for a good reason.

Not sure. If things work out this week and the car is road worthy by friday I can probably be down there by mid day saturday. Is there any way I can have my car stored at the dyno location over night? I might need to do that. Or I'll probably just sleep in my car. lol

I'm unfortunatley not gonna be setup with the meth kit yet for this round. I need to get a new tank. Lots of stuff is gonna be missing from my car.
