I never thought I would be the one to bitch out, but I'm not going to make it. I sent wackaloo a text to let him know he would be up sooner, but you may want to call him anyway. The real problem was that I waited too long to start turning wrenches. It dawned on me not to get a professional tune performed with everything quickly wired up hack-job style. No hood right now was another thing making me nervous. I also have no more room in the budget for unforeseeable expenses, which are all too common in the auto world. My sincerest apologies to Steve, Eric, and everyone else who I didn't show up with beer for.

If you and Juice (and others) are definitely going to be ready for a spring tune, I am in for sure. You could hold on to my deposit check in the meantime, if this is acceptable. I could make myself available for any date chosen if this is the case.

 

what time are people getting there tomorrow? I have some work to do on the brakes and I don't have tags but I still may try and get down there. Not getting tuned or anything just was going to see some cars and meet some people since I am new.

 

They where dynoing the last car when I left at 6pm and they have none planed for tomarrow that I know of. That could change.

I believe siguy2k has pictures of it. My camera died earlier in the day and was only able to get pictures of the Cosmo swapped FB.


I had a good time, and the shop was not cold at all.

Only 4 cars got tuned. One made 361whp and a half bridged 500R made 409 (or 407whp) I forget which. Steve seems to be doing just fine (both of them), and there was no party after all the tuning. Eric and Kan left around 830-9. A rather mild session compared to last one and the ones in the past.

 

It was good getting out to meet the community. The best part was seeing siguy2K's vert being reworked from an IC / Water Injection car to a Water Injection only car.

Looking forward to seeing Eric's beast lay down some numbers.

Damn, your 1st gen is CLEAN. Very nice. I wish I could have been there but I was in Bermuda and my car is pretty much completely stripped right now.
