St. Louis Area, GTUs/TII to be sold
I'm coming back home for a week during 4th of July to clean up my 89 GTUs/TII to get it presentable to sell. I will then be back in Florida for a few weeks and back to MO by the 2nd week of August. I'm trying to gain a bit of interest right now.
About the car:
1989 GTUs 130,xxx on chassis
Black, with black interior
Straight body, no MAJOR damage. Very slight damage to front bumper, cracked bondo spot. Rust isn't too bad. Passenger side wheel well has a bit of rust, driver's side has even less. A few small rust spots on the drivers side door. Underneath the car is typical for St. Louis cars.
Engine, engine is BLOWN, started but ran like a blown engine.
S5 TII Engine, rebuilt and streetported by Kevin Landers, but engine had 3000 miles on it, so it is most likely a good core. Emissions components were removed and simplified.
Corksport Oil Cooler lines installed.
S5 Turbo, with small amounts of shaft-play.
Custom SS Turbo Feed line.
3 inch Corksport Downpipe
S5 TII ECU and Harness
2.5" Midpipe
Borla Catback exhaust
Blitz SS BOV
Spearco 3" FMIC
Red Silicone Connectors
Tenzo Intake Cone
TID with Less than 5k miles on it
Manual Air-Bleed Boost Controller
ACT Pressure Plate
Tokico Struts
Nearly New Racing Beat Springs, less than 3000 miles on them.
18" Akuza Wheels with Wanli Tires, less than 3000 miles on them.
Also have the stock GTUs/TII wheels with tires.
Interior is nearly flawless
One tear on driver's seat.
FD Shift ****
SPi Boost Gauge
Custom HUGE glass sunroof(i didn't install it, so keep your comments to yourself).
Currently the car has N/A Drivetrain, including the coveted GTUs rear-end and tranny. Tranny doesn't grind, rear-end is solid, I never launched this car when it was running.
I do have a TII tranny, TII Rear-end, TII Driveshaft, and halfshafts to be included with the the car. Just needs a TII clutch kit, starter, and flywheel to complete the conversion.
I will be taking pics on July 1st and posting them up on the board.
I hate to have to let this car go, it was my first car but I can't afford to take it to LA, CA when I move in September and I need to purchase an eco-friendly car.
I am setting the price at 2800 OBO.
GTUs/TII with a lot of parts, needs a rebuild and some body work, but other than that...it's very very nice.
Thanks,
Mitch

The Akuza's tony? For you, I'll make a special price.
If the 18's are sold to Tony price drops to $2400 with GTUs/TII wheels on it.
By the way, Tony can attest to the condition of this car, he helped me put it together.
**I also forgot to mention it has a Re-wired Walbro 255LPH with 3000 miles on it.**
