"......to the Sno*Drift Rally. Preparations are underway for the 2011 event. Sno*Drift Rally is the first event of the 2011 Rally America Championship series, and is presented by Sno*Drift Rally Inc. Running concurrently are the Sno* and the Drift Regional rallies. As in past years, it will be headquartered in Atlanta, Michigan but also utilize the towns of Lewiston and Hillman. Sno*Drift Rally is unique several ways. Besides being the only winter rally on the Rally America circuit, it is fully contained within Montmorency County, Michigan. This year there will be larger Super Special for ease of viewing and there is the Sno*Attack, a rally within the rally for 2 wheel-drive cars. "

They have a 2 wheel drive class just for you....------------------
On the other hand, as long as the temps stay cold our local club is going to be doing some ice racing around that time too. Basically, this is an autocross course set up on a lake, and tends to be more snow than ice. Haven't made it to one yet myself, but I've heard some great reviews on it.
Here is their website (no information posted yet, but should be soon): http://furrin.org
January 29/30—Tentative Ice Racing at Turk Lake, weather permitting.
February 5/6—Tentative Ice Racing at Turk Lake, weather permitting.
Turk Lake is just North of Greenville Michigan.... I think the entry fee is something like 15 bucks.
With the dates so close together, I'll either spend a lot of money to go up North for a few days, or stay cheap and actually do some racing locally. Now that I think about it, that sounds like a pretty easy choice. Especially when I start thinking about getting accommodations up North at the big rally. Hmmm.....
