rx7 mechanics near Wausau WI? (central wisconsin)

I am looking for a quality mechanic to work on my 94 rx7 but am having troubles finding the right person to work on the car. Does anyone know any one close to my area that i live that does work on rx-7s besides the mazda dealer? I live in central wisconsin, specifically Wausau Wi.

Edit: FWIW, you'd probably be best off not going to the Mazda dealer.

there are a number of excellent tuner shops in the fox river valley area and green bay. they generally don't do alot of OEM dealer oriented maintainence but probably would be able to be of help if you have a problem. none are mazda exclusive.

the wisconsin club is active and statewide so if you go to the site and post perhaps someone in the club might be of help to you.

i have a second home in the minocqua area and live near west bend so i drive thru wausau weekly during the summer. is your car a new acquisition? any mods? any current problems?

it's always nice to locate another FD in the state.

first of all i would say my car isnt a true rx7, its a miata body but everything is converted to 3rd gen rx7, suspension, engine, drivetrain, electrical , brake, the whole 9 yards.

i bought the car with a blown motor and i put a new one in but it will not fire up, i believe there is an electrical problem somewhere, i bought a power fc computer to see if the ecu was damaged ( shorted out or rained on), i wanted to buy it anyways so i just did so i can rule out another component.

pretty much ive done plenty of work on it with no sucess to getting it to fire up so i just want to find someone with knowledge and pay them to fix it so i can use it this summer, i would mess with it myself but i am very busy with work and other projects where its hard to find time.
