Rotary Meet in St.Charles, Mo?
Was there a 7 meet in the St.Charles area that I don't know about? Headed home from work I saw abeautiful red fd on cave springs and then while I was on 61 west I saw a black s4 FC on the service road where all the car dealerships are. Was that anybody on here or does anyone know who that may have been? I would love to attend a local rotary meet and I'm trying to go to the 417 rotary meet.
there's a few out there that still have 7's, they'll come out of hiding eventually haha.
my 91na locked up on me last week, so instead of going with another na motor, I'm looking for a t2
any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated

Why not try to unlock it by soaking it in trans fluid or whatever? Well if you ever need that engine gone I'll def take it off your hands. Unfortunately I probably wouldn't be able to pay anything for it but if you can't find a buyer and really need it outta your way let me know and I'll find a way to come get it.
More Missouri action needs to happen period. Last meet was 100+ degrees outside when I went to one in STL.
I think I know of maybe 6-7 FD's in this state and running into a FC owner is just as rare.

i read about flushing the motor with transmission fluid the other night,
i might just try that when it warms back up.. but a t2 swap would be sweet
hey chris if you're willing to part with that turbo kit, I've got 2 sets of twins for trade & cash if needed
I would love to get my Fd fixed up & running again.. it's been too long

I think it's worth a little more than that. I'm going to make an official for sale post with a list of everything.
Spread the word if you know anyone that wants a cheap FD project with everything needed to run and go fast as hell for $7k.
I don't ever plan on getting rid of my 7's.. when i'm not working or at home with the wifey i can spend time at the shop it's like having two girlfriends on the side ;P
Eric & Chris it was an honor to meet you guys, i really dig the new rides & i wish i hung out more back in the glory days. maybe someday down the road you'll pick up another 7 just for fun & maybe not, either way good luck & be safe out there
i'm getting ready for Deal's Gap this April, so far i'm the only st. louis area person going... i've wanted to attend the event ever since 05 & i'm going to do whatever it takes to get my fd ready

yeah i was the there with the fc, my names Matt. I'm registered & booked for dgrr this year thursday thru sunday. thinking about going down to florida & staying there for a week & possibly moving there eventually.
I spent just under $400 for a cabin for the weekend, I hope we can pull a good size crew to roll out there. Figure 500 for gas & food & whatever if you budget well. Bring a friend & cut costs in half. This will be a trip to remember, I also plan to mount a camera or two to my car. I'm ready for some warm weather to wrench on my 7's but unfortunately we're suppose to get rain/ice/snow the next few days - Misery in Missouri
This is what I get for not checking the midwest section enough. Yep, in the S.W. MO area we are doing meets once a month and had a great time with the Eureka Springs drive last Nov. Being that it is the winter months, everyones cars are kind of in hibernation until a decent day pops up. But short of snow or a blown motor we gather during the odd months in Joplin and the even months in Springfield.
We actually have a restaurant we meet at here in Springfield that is owned by the former owner of hylomar. Kind of a small world and we just recently found out about it. The guy is super cool and puts on any racing event we want while we are there. Our goal is revive the midwest section and get some more drives and meets going. This spring is our next big drive, but we are still trying to figure out where and what route(s) to take. We have stickers and shirts and we are in the process of coming up with some cool cnc accessories.
I think it would be freaking awesome to revive the midwest rotary rendezvous! Seeing the excitement and support in our neck of the woods shows me there is opportunity to get it going again.
