Looking for some recommendations/advice


My dad is retiring next spring and he has owned at least one RX7 since 1982! My siblings and I would like to help finish his current RX7 restore as a retirement gift for him in April so he can enjoy it a little instead of always having the 'project'


He currently has an 85' that was a daily driver until 2002 or so. It has been garaged since then. He picked up an 82' for parts and completed the chassis and body work (sans the final paint job). But now that it's been sitting so long, we're assuming the engine will need an overhaul.


Any recommendations for the Minneapolis/St Paul area for a rotary mechanic? Or recommendations for a paint job? What kind of price tag should we be planning for?
