Re-upholster you stock seats

I though this may come of use to some of the midwest Rx-7 owners out there.

I am extremely fond of FD factory seats. Being that most of them available to us are 20ish years old, it's hard to find them in good shape. Especially if you have red interior. I looked to have mine wrapped in fresh leather. I must have called twenty shops in the area with no luck. Same answer everywhere i tried, "we don't have the pattern."

I found someone to take my old seats and create his own pattern. Now he has the pattern and can do more if anyone has interest. I don't know if anyone else would want to take on this project. According to him these seats have 43 panels a piece and he has 45 hours into them. He didn't say this to make money either. One of my vendors from work paid for them as a favor for all the business I throw his way. Anyways, his shop is in Elgin, IL. I will post full contact info and his pricing tomorrow. I think he said $750 per seat. Here are a few pics for now.

I don't know how well this pics can show but I don't think these could have come out any better. I'm no pro, but they look flawless to me.
