I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a shop in Racine, WI thats fairly knowledgeable in rx's, I'm ordering the RB exhaust for my 7, and I'm going to want the emissions system removed and a straight pipe where the cat is supposed to go, thx.

in the sig. reason i need a shop, is that my parents are currently overlooking the usual use of my car, starting it once every week or so, and driving it around. i know my dad would love to work on it, but i don't want him to since his job works him pretty hard and he needs his rest. I'd do it myself but if you look at where i am, its rather impossible for me to do this.

Just about any exhaust shop could do it for you, I think.

How are you activating your AUX ports after the exhaust swap?

well, right now, they don't work at all so I'm getting nothing from them as it is, i read up on some method with grease and flooring it in a couple gears to see if they functioned, nothing. I'm not getting the road racing headers(though all of them seem remove the actuators/headers) . Is there some method that i don't know of that will work, kinda the reason i want to go to somewhere that knows something about them.
i don't want some jackass doing half assed work on my car because he doesn't know what he's working with and end up paying up the *** because he had to do more work on it, making my car worse, and paying more.
unless you know of a better way of doing this, my parents are tired of the stupidly loud exhaust the previous owner put on it, and I'm looking for something quieter but still offers decent performance. btw, he put these stupidly loud mufflers that are larger than the area in the bumper for the exhaust, and the shop he went to wielded the whole exhaust into one GIANT piece...idiots.

I assume you are talking about a catback system, correct? The full RB system has a presilencer that replaces the cats. Even if you are just going with a catback, I would leave your cats on for several reasons:

1) It is good for the environment
2) It will be cheaper. Cat-back install is a DIY driveway job in under 30 minutes. No exhaust shop needed.
3) Your car is bone stock NA. Going catless really isn't going to make your car any faster.
4) It will be cheaper. No additional money spending needed to keep functional 5th & 6th ports
5) You said you want it quieter. I have a Motoria turbo-back exhaust (similar to RB) WITH the presilencer, and I still got pulled over for loud exhaust. Not to mention NA cars are louder than turbos anyway...
6) It will be cheaper. Use the money saved to do a different, more worthwhile modification

yeah I'm jamesz, well this thing is ungainly loud. hrm....the headers don't bolt onto the stock cat, and right now, i would have to get a whole new cat anyway because the whole thing is one solid chunk and i don't want that ever again. i stated before, I'm not home(I'm in iraq on deployment), my dad would have to do this, and i don't want him to, he's getting a bit old and i don't want to work him harder than his job already does. i know he would want to, but i don't want him to get hurt or anything. i'm not looking for performance enhancements, im looking for something a little quieter than it is now, its friggin loud on the inside of that thing going 60mph(you are going deaf because of the exhaust, and having to turn the stereo up so loud.)
