well, i was in the process of buying an engine/tranny/harness from a guy on supramania. a few hours ago, i recieved a pm from a moderator that he was a scam artist. now i prolly won't be able to make it to midnight mayhem.

we're not sure what happened to the plug. it came from japan that way.

So was I the only one at Cordova? I only saw one other rotary car and it was a red 8 with a pretty nice looking bodykit and spoiler. My best time was 15.887 @ 86.55. I am currently running 13.8 AFR so a little more tuning still needs to be done along with upgrading my ignition.

Nice to see we've got some rotary tuners around the Quad Cities area. I live in Bellevue, IA, which is about an hour north along the river from the Quad Cities. I wish I would have been down at Cordova that night. I've been there quite a few times for the events and to watch friends race, but the RX-7 hasn't been there for a while. Not worth running it until I turbo it or find another car, sadly. Seems like there ain't **** for RX-7's around Iowa, or it's us guys that own them and hide them where I never see them. lol Most of the RX-7's I do see around the area are completely trashed, or owned by older people that don't mod them at all. There used to be a few pretty insane FD's up in Dubuque, but I haven't seen them for over a year. Is there anyone interested in having a Quad Cities meet? I'd like to actually get into the RX-7 community a little more, rather than hang out with my Honda friends all day. Sadly, there's nothing but rice machines all over around my area, and it really sucks. So, who's all around here?
