I saw Aero8's post on mazda247.com and hadn't heard about your club yet. I want to invite you guys out to a show my club and I are putting on July 26th. Hopefully you guys can make it out. Make sure to prereg. to guarantee your space together as a club.

This is a car show that Team Echo and 935Draggers are hosting in the Village of Palatine where all the proceeds goes to the American Cancer Society.

This is a first of it's kind in the Chicago area, a Parking Garage Car Show. If you don't have a car to show, come to support, it's free to attend, and the Metra is right next door.

Pre-registration for cars are $5
and day off are $10

So is anyone planning to do this? I was thinking of entering the FD but may just show up and walk around checking the cars out.

 

All earnings to to the cancer society, so your $10 entrance fee is actually a donation. From what Im hearing from the guys putting the show on, its gonna be big! There's already a few GTR's, Supras, FD's, etc headin out, should be a good show. Im going to enter my rx8 into it. Should be a good show

 

that's good enough for me...I leave japan on the 25th so hopefully I'll be over my Jetlag by then. Whats the exact way to register? Just send dude a paypal or what?

I'm probably gonna be there in the Supra. It's a red 88 with Chii Racing stickers on the quarter windows

This show should be sick, Im pry excited about it. Im cruisin with a couple people down there, if anyone is in the Gurnee/Waukegan area let me know and you can cruise with us. Ill be in my Red RX8, carbon fiber ram air duct and my trunk is black, you cant miss me. My name is Chris and Im like 8 feet tall, lookin forward to meeting some of you.

 

Chris, how many people are you going to be rolling with? Just so i can make sure and have some extra room for you guys. I had assigned just a couple spots, but i'll add some more. Are you coming down w/ protege?

 

not too many. Just me and another person in a Maxima FOR SURE. Maybe 2-3 more but its not sure yet since everyone sucks at making plans

Just make sure 2 spots are set for sure and the other guys will just have to do with whatever they can get since they're not commiting.

EDIT: Actually I think you met my buddy Jonas with the black Maxima, he's rollin down with me for sure.

 

You hadn't paid yet right? If not, just roll in together and you'll all be parked together most likely, unless we fill the garage and at that point, you would be parked sporatically

 

So I'd just recommend getting there right at 11

 

We're not gonna be getting there til about 12:30-12:45 FML.
