so i was thinking of having a cook out for 3rd gen owners who live in omaha or near. maybe in later april or late may. my car will be in texas getting tuned by steve kan in early may, so that is out. but what do you guys think. let me know and i will start planning something.

I'm generally up for a get- together, but there aren't many FDs around. You may want to consider opening it up for other rotaries.

I am in Omaha and have a FD that usually runs. I can probably make it there but lately the car does not start after being driven. It needs to sit for long while. Let me know the plan.

yea im down. I got a mazda meet going right now for march 31st, looks like 15 or so are gonna go.

 

my car is off to texas april 29 and i should have it back by may 5th. so i am planning on having this soon after.

 

Well, I'm new here in Nebraska, not new at all to the rotary though.

I'll have my FD up here joining the Omaha few if it makes the drive from Florida on the rebuild which I'll hopefully complete while I'm down there in the next couple of weeks.

So anyway, before I go off rambling, which I do alot of, I'll have my FD up here on or about Memorial Day, God willing, if this get-together is gonna happen that late in the month.

Otherwise, I'm always up for anything FD/rotary related, you all just hit me with a PM and I'll get you my cell #. I'm pretty good with this damn car, I've owned it since 2000, rebuilt it twice, rebuilt a friends engine twice, and another one once, so I know the engine quite well...but I wouldn't go to me for tuning. done a few transmissions drops, brakes, diffs, etc., I don't think that there's a bolt on the car that I haven't turned. So if you need a hand holler. Anyway, hope to meet you all soon, this electronic stuff sure beats leaving notes on other FD's.

its been a crazy few months for me. so i am just now taking my car to texas (gotham racing). i'm leaving tomarow night and should be there friday morning. anyway i should have the car back in a few weeks. so i am hoping to have the meet early june. it all comes down to gotham racing getting the car tuned.
