Ohio members that need a/c charged
There is a dude i know locally here in the columbus erea that will charge 45 labor and 25 per pound for filling up A/C, he also does regular stuff (R134) but dont know what he charges for that. My manuel said we require 2 pounds.
thats for those of you that done want to swith and dont have the licnese to purchase it . I got quoted by two seperate companies here in columbus to charge it and they both wanted around 170 bucks. so paying 95 is a good price. he also shoots up the die to see if you have leaks. nice dude.
pm if you need his number and location.

yes I am talking about R12. our vehicles use R12 unless you swith the hole system over to R134.
The dude I know only charges 25 bucks per pound. If i remember correctly our haynes manuel or under my hood it said it required 2 pounds.
either way 95 bucks compared to 175 is pretty darn good I though.
just wanted to share the info and safe some fellow member some cash if they cant get their hands on some cheap R12 if wished to keep the R12.

15-25 pounds..whether R12 or R134a sounds like wwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy to much for the systems of a typical car.
