OFFICAL *Fall BBQ in Wichita*

Hello all,
Well we have gotten some things worked out. The BBQ will be Oct. 13th starting around 11:00ish at the Sedgwick Co. Park. The address is 6501 W. 21st North.
We will be meeting is shelter #3 see attached map.
We were thinking $10.00 per head for shelter, lunch and drinks.
Show up. I have not spoken with Alex, but I'm sure he would say that the weather will be great. Hope to see many of you there.

It's still a couple of months away and I can't be sure with my schedule, but if slightly chubby old guys from out-of-state are allowed, I might make it. Be nice to see some of the faces from Lawrence again.

Sure, but I'd probably come down Hwy 75 to Topeka and then catch the Turnpike to Wichita. A little out of the way for you.

Um yea, that would be another way to get to Wichita, LOL, I think I will most likely just drive straight south.

That WOULD be a helluva drive....and there basically isn't anything of interest in Wichita. I mean, it is not like you could stay over and take in a ball game or something else cool.
Still, we'd like to see ya!

Do we have to reserve a place or can we just show up? If my engine swap is done by then, I'll try to get down there.
