Como Park is a large park with a Zoo, Conservatory and Amusement Park. It officially closes at 6:00pm. I can check and see if we can use there parking lots after hours if you wish. I was thinking of that spot for the afternoon for the people from out of town or getting off work early and Rainbow Foods for evening get together. People at night cruise University and sometimes go thru Porky's drive-in where I am usually permantallly planted. It always has American muscle and other hot cars. I'm the very rare japanese sports car that goes there because I'm old(62) and fit in well with that group of young and old. Lots of bikes show up inclusing Boss Hoss V8 bikes of up to 800hp.

I'll go to my other event on Saturday as my car has already been dyno tuned. I'll be able to attend whatever is planned for Saturday night and Sunday.

Thanx,

Ken

Oh ok, my bad. I just thought it was a park, haha. I am down for Porky's as well. I will be in town early so I guess I could be at Como Park anytime. I apologize for the confusion.

Porky's can hold about 15-20 cars. I don't know how many cars you expect but if we got there early enough we'd probably **** off alot of Mustangs and Camaros. Just kidding, lots of hot cars go there, just not Japanese sports cars.

Well, once we are together, it shouldn't matter where we end up.

Actually I think many people would welcome our cars, better than the same old cars that usually show up. I know my car gets lots of positive attention. Old and young people love my car. I have never had any negative comments.

I think the Dyno idea will have to be out of the question. Not enough people that want to dyno to make it worthwhile for DB. Now what?

So far the dyno has a 13G TT Stealth, NA-T Supra, Z32 TT, and a GT3076R EVO.

I was at Porky's last night and they can handle about 30 cars.

A FC with big turbo showed up and a FC with Ford V8 also which is for sale for $4500, Well worth it he has that much in the engine. He's getting married and also a "73 Chev Nova coming in from CA in the next month so he has to sell it.

The fellow in the custom 300C passed out flyers on a free car show setup for Sunday 9-10-06 from noon till 7pm.

The annual Wings and Wheels in Osceola, WI is on 9/9 (Sat), which is also a free show and has a little of everything including airplanes, helicopters, motorcycles, and all makes of cars.

A group of us rotary guys has been going to this show for the past 6 years now and since I'm not into the "street tunerz", MC Stink Dog and the funky bunch crew , thank you much but I'll be headed across the border.

Is there any definite plans for this Saturday? Times/location, etc?

Well, since hardly anyone wants to dyno, and it really took the wind outta my sail as far as what to do, I figured I could maybe get one or two cars tuned during the afternoon. I would suspect I will be there with atleast a few of my friends that are coming down with me(GT3076R EVO, 13G TT Stealth, GT35R Stealth). I am trying to get an appointment to give you guys a time. If that doesn't work out, we should go do Pro-Karts.

I don't get it, you seem to knock me posting a free car show in MN. All I did was post some info I received, if the show is a dud don't blame me. I'll go because I love cars, all cars.

I will not be in WI because I can't afford all the fuel to get there and I could care less about stuff the flys in the air and bikes, all I care about is HOT cars.

Don't ask me about Saturday, this is not my event, I was just trying to assist.

I have other things to do that Saturday during the day. As far as I'm concerned I'll be at Porky's unless there is a better place to be.

Yeah, Saturday kind of crapped out on me. Do you guys have any suggestions? I still plan on being at DB Saturday afternoon atleast for a few hours hopefully doing some tuning and maybe a few power pulls for just whoever shows up. After the tuning we probably should have a few more cars to play with . I'm stumped as far as what to do. Should we just say meet at DB Performance at 12pm on Saturday? If nothing happens there we can figure out whats going on. I apologize for the organization of this, but this REALLY threw me off.
