Well, I and some others are going down the night before. And last year, there was an after party of sorts, so I'm staying down there the weekend. It's optional of course.

This is a Meet & Greet for new and veteran Mazdafest Attendees! Get your car all shined up, and come out and meet the Indy RX-8 Club that will be putting on the show! An event JUST for people attending the Cruise-In is the Mazdafest Scavenger Hunt! We will be asking you to obtain items from all over Indianapolis (bring your digital camera!) and bring them to Mazdafest on Saturday! Have the most items from the list and you will win a prize!

Johnson County Animal Shelter Raffles

In addition to selling raffle tickets to benefit our local animal shelter, we will be giving raffle tickets away for ANY donations made to the shelter from this list:

- Cat food and dog food canned or dry (adult or puppy/ kitten)
- Clay Cat Litter (please no scoopable litter)
- Bleach & Liquid Lysol
- Paper towels and cleaning supplies of various types
- Old towels or blankets

Tickets will be issued based upon the amount of items you bring! Bring in lots of stuff, get LOTS of raffle tickets to win great prizes!

Hello all!

This will be the last update for this event! Based upon the amount of cars coming, we have made some changes to the layout this year. You will notice on the map, that the center point of the show will be shifted so that nobody is "out of the action". We had the opportunity to get closer to the highway with Skillman's purchase of the dealership in front of them, however we would only be able to park on a gravel lot. We opted against the gravel lot and adjusted.

This year you will be able to enter from either entrance off of US-31. There will be two areas for spectator parking.

To answer questions regarding the "Afterparty" -- There will be no after party this year. Instead we will have a "Pre-Meet" at The Suds will begin around 6pm. This year we have put together an "Amazing Race" style scavenger hunt for those arriving on Friday. We will give you a list of several items to find, get pictures of, or simply do to win great prizes on Saturday. The Scavenger hunt envelopes will be passed out at 8:00 PM at The Suds!

Again, the whole purpose of Mazdafest will be to support the Johnson County Animal Shelter so please bring donations to support that cause. We will give raffle tickets for each donation that will be good for prizes and a shot at winning a set of Mazdafest 2010 Cornhole Boards and Bags!

Just a reminder that the Johnson County Animal Shelter is run by the Sheriff's department, and there will be uniformed officers on the site this year. Please DO NOT drink alcoholic beverages on the premises.

This year in addition to what we had last year we will have live music by Truett and the Traitors a band featuring Mazda3 owner Grazamataz (Chris Greig)!

Don't worry too much about the weather, we will have lots of food, fun, and prizes for everyone! Gates open at 8am!! See you there!

well the show was a good one. No rain the whole day. Lots of nice cars showed up.

 

More of the Chicago area folks need to show up next year. The weather, though it looked bad, held out for us all night. It just started raining about an hour ago. Can't complain about that.

 

me, and the ms3 met up in chicago, and caravan'd down. i had the blue 6 there. was a great meet. and like you said, not a drop of rain.

 

Had fun the weather held nice and cool. Perfect for the cars not too hot not too cold. For those who didn't show you missed a great event.
