for everybody wanting to join the Newton and Wichita caravan to the meet, i was thinking it would be smarter to leave from Wichita instead, in order to take the turnpike all the way to lawrence. this way it will make the trip easier and more enjoyable. if this sounds good, let me know so we can make it happen. also, this caravan is open to anybody from surrounding towns.

if its not, my brother works at Gorges Motor Company which is just off the turnpike. we could all meet there in order to take the turnpike the whole way to lawrence.

254 is four lane. I saves a little bit on tolls, but either way is fine with me. You Newton guys can make the call as it's your drive at first, so what ever takes the least time.

no let's meet at the cracker barrel at 8:00 am. i took that route to lawrence this weekend and it is a good way to go. just so everybody knows, the toll from el dorado to lawrence is $4.75.
