theres a good place out on van dyke and 8 mile called mitches junk yard, andy is who you wanna talk to hes got quite a bit, enough 13bt and a few 20bs sittin back there

every other week or so out on woodward in the summer myself and another member upatnight host some meetings out on woodward and 12 mile saturdays at about 10pm

im trying to put together a auto-x/ drag/ dyno/ mod day plan for this year, and maybe we will gain enough interest to make what we had last year into something bigger this year.

if any of you would be intrested in meeting up when this **** melts out side shoot me a pm.

as of last year only about 6 people showed up regularly so what ever i hopeing to not have to gain support from the 240 community or f-j-w/body community this year to rent out the track.

maybe not this year, but soon i would like to get about 30 members form wherever to contribute to rent out all of the norwalk drag strip.

i can get group rates at a dyno shop in troy for about 50-60 dollars for about 6 pulls per person.

thats all for now this year should be interesting as long as my car starts

Just got my first RX7 2 days ago Its a 1986 non-turbo. It has a bad starter as of right now, but it will run once i replace it.

I live around ferndale by woodward, so the new meeting place is woodward and 12 mile this year now or are the cops going to keep moving us down farther and farther.

yah i dont think my 86' has a starter issue,i think it has something to do with gunk in the engine, so this spring im going to do a oil and fuel change,add some cleaners to it and see if it'll start up

How was the meet? I had a last minute family issue to deal with.

I have been playing with Nick (MIB) on Xbox live, but I will be trying to make at least one meet this year. I know you (Kentetsu) have been giving me lots of helpful advice and would like to meet you in person.

Just checking in. Im in Allendale, but im in the process of getting quotes and saving up money for a rebuild right now (not that i'd want to put it out on shitty west michigan roads anyways....). Anyways, hopefully I'll have her back on the road by the end of april, middle of may at the worst, and then I would love to meet up with you guys!

Speaking of Banzai, im supposed to get a quote back from them some time today.....

I know they are not doing a spring BBQ, because of the wedding. I really hope they do a fall BBQ, great trip before putting the FD way for winter. I just hope I'm back from my honeymoon to make it.

Keep me posted on the meetings please! Did you participate in the Michigan Rotary Club meets? I know they sponsored an event at Buffalo Wild Wings in Novi last year. I didn't make it because I was out of town. btw, I'm formerly of Novi, still in the area (Northville).
