Looking for Rotary help around the KC area....
I just picked up an FB from Craigslist. It has been sitting for a LONG time. Motor is carbon locked, I have it full of Sea Foam as we speak. Getting ready to go down and see if it has loosened up any overnight. Not holding my breath.
However, if I can't get this thing unlocked I'm going to yank it out, and get to work. Going NA, 48 IDA Webber, racing beat exhaust, and a Bridgeport. It is NOT going to be a street car! Dedicated racecar!
Looking for someone that lives in this area that has experience with this sort of thing. I have built several 6 port 13b's in my day, and have been without an RX7 for about 4 years. I have never built one to this spec yet, and looking for a nice drag racer.
Thanks for any help.

Dude quite a few of us hang out on Thursdays and I bet we could get together that night or some other night around then. Alex ^ and Hank (raindog) would be your best bets, just keep us posted and we can have a rotary party in Olathe

This would rock. Order some Pizza's, a cooler of beer, hang out and talk Rotary!!! It's a GREAT idea. You guys can tell me if I got a good deal at $80 for this beast.
I own my own business, and work from my home, so ANYTIME works for me. I own a graphics business, and do everything from basic stickers to full body wraps.
I have most of the engine bay torn apart, basically removing the rats nest, and the intake. This made injecting 2 cans of sea foam easier. Also, seeing that I do not plan on running the stock carb, there is no need for that. I am hoping that this frees up, if not we may have an engine pulling party! Also, you guys will have to bring your 7's. I have a large culdasac, and I would love to see it fille with rotarys. Also, there is this DB that lives across the street that is always ripping through the gears of his DA Integra, would be nice to show him whats what....
DOES ANYONE HAVE TEMPLATES FOR 12a bridgeport????? This would save me $60, and I'm willing to throw some $$ your way for the temporary use of the template.
This is not my first racecar, but it is my first that's going to be rotary. I went against the rotary gods on my last two. Both had stuck engines that I could not get unstuck. Both got V8's in them, and I REFUSE to go this route on this one. First one was an 88 Vert, 383 Stroker, T-76 turbo, powerglide, lots of tire, went 9.3's first pass. Second one was also an 88 Vert, LS1, T-56 tranny, would pull sportbikes on the highway to 135 or so... Both were nasty, both were fast, both were SINS!!!!
Thanks

Thursday the 6th works for me. I have to work til 6, so it'll have to be 7 at my house. PM me for address, I won't post that online.
I'm unfirmiluar with how this works, do I need to throw some beer in the fridge, or maybe some soda?
I miss this, I used to belong to a car club in Florida, and we would rotate whose car we would work on each week. I would deff like to link up with you guys, I'm sure I could learn alot about my rotary. Help me stay away from the darkside.
Thanks in advance.
ANYONE HAVE AN ENGINE STAND ADAPTER THAT I CAN BUY OR BORROW FOR A MONTH SO I CAN BUILD MY 12a?????

SCORE!!!!! I just put a down payment on a TII that came out of a runnig car. Far from stock, ported, with a few trick parts. I just need to get this 12a out of the car, along with the tranny, and get it all cleaned up and painted up, ready for the new heart to go in. I also need to get the nasty interior out too, so I can get it up to Winkler for a new cage.

No biggie, I really don't have much to look at right now anyways. I pulled all the left front of the body apart (fender, header panel, bumper cover, and headlight cover.) Some of it is salvageable, most isn't. Nothing really to look at, but would be nice to meet some of you guys.

Just a couple of quick shots of the current state of my 7. Got all of the damaged body parts off of it (the hood is OK, but easier to work with when it's off the car.)
Man, this thing is UGLY!!!! However, after it's caged, painted, and a turbo 13b transplant, it will be great.
Going this week to pick up most of the body parts that I need to get it back together. I placed an order for the LF headlight cover, hopefully will have it next week. Just picked up a few body working tools to start laying some bondo.
ANYONE HAVE A GOOD WINDSHIELD?????? Mine is coming out next week, it has a huge crack in it.

Update again!!!!! IT' 100% FREE NOW. I had a lot of fluid in there, and was hydro locking the rotor. I sucked it out, and flipped it front and back until it puked it all out. NOW I need to figure out how to rebuild this damn carb so I can hear it run.
