hey everyone, i know there has to be some people around here that keep the wankles going and dont drop in the small blocks! I'm new to the forum and rx7's but come on, there has to be enough of us around that we can get some kind of meet together (official or not). would be a great idea to get the rx7 community together so we can help each other out and all that jazz. so if you're in the area lets get a shout out!

 

I used to live in Waverly Ky and drove a red 90 gxl That is close to evansville IN and Henderson etc. I'll be visiting back again in June but I'll have a s4 engine it probably. Where are you living?

Actually, it's not that far. 1 1/2 -2 hrs tops. I'm over at Ft. Knox usually about once a quarter. I'm a retiree and come over there to shop the PX/Clothing sales/Commissary. Usually hit up a couple of places in E-town while I over there.

WOW there actually are RX's in the henderson owensboro area... amazing. i've been looking to buy one for a while now, but im having trouble finding one. i know there are a couple people in town with them, but there not for sale.

I might be moving back here soon to western kentucky; I won't have my s5 though. I'm buying a miata to get me through school. We def. should get a meet going because its boring as hell in my town.

 

I live in Evansville. From Henderson. I have a red 90 GXL, but I probably can't hang-out with you guys..... V8 car.

BTW, fastorlast, you will probably have a hard time finding a 7 around here. I had to go a good distance to find mine.

 

I'm personally good friends with fastorlasr, I showed him a 85 gs, had 118000miles on it and the guy wanted 2500 firm, needs a lil bit of work but was running driving. He didn't buy it so I did lol. I live in Henderson at chapelwood apts. Both fastorlast and me would come and hang out providing we had time, I work and help raise my gf's kids, but I'm sure I could get away a nite to hang.

I moved back to Morganfield and my s4 and s5 are sitting in eastern kentucky; coolant seals =
Anyway, I'm hoping to buy an engine from a guy in Illinois and have my s5 running in a month or so... If I can swap it; it'll be my first engine swap (in a car).
Oh, and I sort of wanted to post a few sightings just to try and figure out if the owners are on the rx7club.com.
Red s4 very clean, aftermarket rims. Saw you at the gas station/laundry mat on the outskirts of Henderson. I was wearing my rx7club shirt and walked in to see if I could find whoever owned it. Made me miss my car. lol.
S4? maroonish always sitting at the Golden Corral?
FB, I think it was gray but I saw it near some apartments in henderson.
Mostly wondering about the maroon s4 because I see it all the time and I always go, "LOOK AT THE SWEET RIDE!"

Where are your cars located in the eastern portion? I'm right off of 75, 4 exits away from TN.

 

Paintsville, its about (trying to think of a big city nearby, haha.) 45mins northwestish away from Pikeville.
