When is the KC area going to do another get together?

 

Just put a $300 12a in the 82, I'm ready for a meet or some rust bucket racing soon. Maybe an autocross is our best bet.

 

I just bought a 93 Touring VR with a streetport and mild mods, I pick it up next friday (7/9). I live in KC, KS. Would like to meet some other guys and learn from them.

 

Why don't we have a meet this Sunday then? I'm free

What about the same old spot, shawnee mission park.
Any objections?

 

This sunday is the 4th, I will be out of town.
Next sunday I will be driving back to town with my rx-7.

Meet in 3 sundays and everyone can look over my fd and make sure it's not a crap-mobile?

Somehow I completely missed this thread... Everyone ought to roll out to the Kansas Speedway's north lot for Crown Autocross' fifth event of the year. We've been giving everyone six runs this year, so it's a great chance to come out and get some practice and tighten that nut behind the wheel. Mr. Raindog is usually the one to post up our meets, and has been absent from doing so thus far this year. He will be harshly punished at whatever our next meet may be. Just roll your Talon out anyways, if you want to show up and run. It's going to be blast in just about any car. Fingers crossed that it doesn't wind up raining... Hope to see y'all there.

I'm just kidding. I'm actually spending the day negotiating to get rid of an 87 2+2 roller that needs to go. Need gaskets & apex seals, not rollers!

I think we should do another rx7 dyno day. We should see if Musclecar Specialties wants to do another Saturday or Sunday get together. I want to dyno my car with the 150 shot and my boss wants to see what his TII is putting down. If anyone else is interested let us know. I was planning on calling them this week to try and set up another dyno day, what a coincidence. I'm sure there will be enough people innarested to get at least a small discount, ten cars or more. Ring 'em up and see what they say, then we can slap a date on it, Saturday or Sunday sometime next month.

 

Just called Rusty and told him the deal. We're going to need an approximate head count and a real date. Starting time will depend on the head count. Didn't talk prices but we just need some more info before we really get it all set up. Let me know whos interested and what dates will work for everybody. Oh, screw this... I'm just going to start a new thread for it.
