Hey I just finished installing t78 , front mount, dual fuel pumps, hks twin power, and power fc and now the car wont start. It turns over and the fuel pump will not stop it just keeps pumping is that normal or should I rewire it?

It doesnt sound like it wants to fire and ready to commit suicide.

If anyone is near mchenry, Illinois (30 miles North of chicago and South of milwaukee) and would be willing to help me out that would be great.

Did you rewiree the fuel pump when you installed the duel pumps? If so you probly hot wired the pumps in if you didn't use a relay.

I am in MN so I cant help you, but there is A-Spec in schaumburg. They are very good with the rotary engine and would trust no one else with my car in the upper mid west.

 

I use a 40amp relay but I wired the switch to the wrong wire power source (when the key is on acc the fuelpumps turn on and never turn off).I hope when I wire it correctly it will start(think I flooded the crap out of it) Would still like someone with expirence to double check the work thats been done to make sure I dont destroy my car .I have no expirenence with the newer efi highperformce cars(+40, last hipo car was a Trans Am in 1987)

Any wire that gives you power with the key on. why dont you pull you signal sorce from the stock fuel pump relay?

Like I stated before A Spec is not far from you and they have done this so many times they could do it with there eyes closed. Plus it sounds like your going to need someone to tune the car so you might as well get to know them.

 

I agree with Rocking Rotary on the A-Spec part, they make their own turbo kits customly so they could do that in a matter of min. im sure. Only problem is they got about a 3-4 week waiting list.
