Well, guys, looks like I'm out of the meet. That weekend, I'll have to be in Des Moines. I haven't bought an rx7, but I have gotten a rotary. I managed to pick up a 1975 Suzuki RE-5. Now, we'll see if I can manage to make it run. I need to be in Des Moines that weekend to finalize the paperwork and see what I can do about registering it.

I have two RX7's. I have a 93 VR and a 84 GSL-SE. The 93 is still under the knife and the 84 is have some problems. So I wont be bringing either one. I will just be in my truck.

 

I'll post some pics up or bring my laptop.

I might make a mid day run out to Des Moines to check on casey's car and can take a peek at ur FB.

About that ride.....I'll take you up on that offer. My car is running but I just had a guy offer me a decent price for my turbo, so I'm going to pull it off and sell it to him. Chances are really good that I won't have the new setup put together by this weekend. If you've already got someone else your taking, that's cool, I have a truck that I can drive if needbe.

If you need an extra pair of hands to help with your work, let me know... I'd be more than happy to help AND learn more about our cars. It would be great to learn from someone with a lot more knowledge in that regard...

As far as the HKS intakes, I would love them, but for my mods, I am only running a dp and exhaust. So I don't have a PFC, or boost controller... haven't had the need since I'm still at 10-8-10. I know my plans are that when my engine goes, I will probably upgrade to an ecu and intake for sure... but who knows. I'm saving money for suspension right now, since I'm on stockers yet (>100k miles).

Another thing... I keep going back and forth between actually keeping the car and selling it... wife and I are planning kids soon, so you know the rest of the story. Know anyone interested in an unmolested, almost stock, pristine, third gen???
