Just an update-
Got my FD running very nicely (idle, transistion, boost, etc)
I'll be able to take my FD down to Des Moines on the 16th.
I'd like to get some dyno times to perfect my maps.
I'm just very happy with how my FD turned out and the haltech. Very enjoyable even at 10psi. I estimate 300-350.
Definately alot more than stock 255

Just checking in from the far eastern side of the state. Seems pretty quiet around the Dubuque area, haven't seen any 7's around besides 1 FC in horrible shape and 1 bone stock FD driven by an older guy. Sadly, the Hondas are everywhere.
If there's going to be a meet, I'd like to know. Tired of looking at my friend's B18's and 5.0's, would rather see some built up rotaries.

Just remember if your not going to do something rite, dont do it at all. So if that means my car will have to much power for the street then great. If I have to trailer it, great. To begin with I didnt buy the FD to drive all the time. If I wanted a car for that I would have bought a Honda.

Depending on what clutch you buy I don't think 500+hp would be all that unstreetable. (twin plates)
I doubt that 10psi on even the largest turbo would net over 400hp making the car drivable with a 10psi spring.
Just have a track spring of X psi. They don't take but 5min to change.

New, and meet?
Hey all,
I just now registered as a new member, and am a new owner, and see that y'all might be meeting here in Des Moines tomorrow?
I just acquired a "barn find" 85 GSL-SE, a Texas car that's all there, but doesn't want to start. So, the car is my latest project, and my first rotary.
If y'all are meeting at Southridge tomorrow, I'd sure like to come down and introduce myself, if I may.
The car, however, won't be there.
Cheers,
DM85
