Indianapolis RX7 meet?

Hey everyone i know this is a little early but i was thinking of trying to get an RX meet here in Indy in the spring i don't own a shop ar anything just seeing who we can get together for a dinner/cruise there is an old drive in here called the "suds" where all these old guys bring their muscle cars i figured we could cruise through and see what we can get ourselves into if your interested drop a line i;m thinking MAY 6th (first friday in may) would be cool
again i'm no one special by any means i would just like to get a meet together and go for a cruise and to the "suds" to mess with those weird guys with mullets

I don't have an Rx-7 anymore, but i could take my Civic. This could be a good time to go to IRP's redneck race strip.

I'd like to see what my car hits.

You posted this in the wrong forum by the way.

So your 16 second nearly 20 year old car is performance? Ha!

My Civic may not be a performance car, but with my set-up, it does handle decently and i'm using a tuned map from a guy with a nearly identical set-up making 215whp with a 13.3 second quarter-mile.

This is why i like having a turbocharged Civic, i love beating arrogant idiots like you.

it's arrogant ******** like yourself that make the 7 community look bad, you have the same mentality that f-body owners have towards 3rd gens, why dont you do us all a favor and sell your car and buy a contour or something

and for the record ive been talking with O 16581 72452 5 throughout his progress on his turbo civic and it would rape your stock fc, so shut your mouth with this whole "performance car" bullshit

GREGS i agree i also own a 2002 trans am ws6 six speed car that i love! ...its not what you drive its your attitude towards it...do you enjoy driving your car? i'm sure the civic guys do to so quit hating on someone that can beat you and just relax man have some fun at a car meet hey rx7s show up thats cool if a nicely built civic shows up cool too when he starts talking bad to you then talk **** only if your car and you for that matter can back it up...i'm not trying to be mean but c'mon a car guy is a car guy "to each his own" its all preference

now if any ricers show up they are all yours (neons, cavaliers etc)
i hope we canget a cool show together thats all!

Well said Meat, that's exactly how i feel about it.

I hate when people give me **** because i drive a Civic. Atleast some people can respect the months of work i've spent under the hood.

I find it more rewarding taking a high 16 second car and putting it into the low 13s than to buy a car that's already that quick.

Try posting this in the "Midwest" section, i'm surprized it hasn't been moved. "Midwest Rotary Rally" is an event, this forum is for discussion of it.

Not to intrude on your conversation but what did your friend trap at in the 1/4 when he ran a 13.3 and what was his 60 foot.

It isn't a friend, i used the map from a guy that goes by the username "beerbongskickass". I can't remember what forum he posted his map on, try a Google search for his username.

i know beerbongskickass. hes on hondaswap.com and homemadeturbo.com

hes a good guy, 230whp out of a 1.6 sohc is impressive

and it is possible to get into the 13 with a swap. my buddy with the del sol ran a 13.(something dont remember) with a flywheel, clutch, I/H/E, and a VAFC.

i dont know the other numbers, ill have to ask him. and as for slicks, im not sure either...

Yeah, he put the boost at 12psi on a completely stock internal D16z6 to make the 230whp, i'm afraid to try that on mine. He was running 10 like i am now and made like i said 215whp.
