[QUOTE=driftseshrx7] my roomate chuck who has started playing with subarus recently is the most hardcore rotary guy in this nation even if he has stopped playing with them for a while.

LOL!!! Dude your roomate "ChuckMod" gave up rotarys for a chick. His sob stories pollute this forum. I think it's great that **** talker is outta here. Say what you want man but ChuckMod dug his own hole with his mouth(take a look at page3 where half the things he said were made up bull ****). I'm not so sure he knows his rotarys either with the way he limped in to the Banzai Racing Cookout on one rotor and the crew he was leading left there rainbow puddles under their cars that he claims he worked on. Yeeiks! No thanks. I just feel bad for the Subaru community now.

I'm not down for anything. I am down for offing my Rx7's and going with a V-Dub. These cars are the devil, and I am sick of having problems with them!

Actually, I just need a new clutch slave cylinder and I am down for a cookout or whatever. I got my new carb and everything on. Had it running for about a half day and the clutch slave cylinder went out. Oh well, at least it starts and runs better than it did before.

Glad you still got that car. I had good times with her. They all need maintenance. LOL

The car itself has been a great car. I had problems with the carb a couple weeks ago, so I went ahead and upgraded to a Holley intake kit from Racing Beat. I am trying to get everything prepped up for my streetported 12a whenever I get around to tearing the rest of the engine apart and have the money to get port work.

Definitely. But I was trying to adjust the carb still because I was leaning out up top when the clutch cylinder went out. Its still not running all that great, but I should be getting the clutch slave and master Friday so I'll be back to tuning the carb when I can drive it again.

This Friday here in Muncie is a type of domestics Vs. imports night. I'd like to see more Rx7's there this time.

I wanna do the strip as soon as I get my Koyo and replace my diff mount. When I do I'm rolling deep with freinds. They don't have rotarys but they all wanna line up so..... 04' WRX, 04' Eclipse Gt, 05' Neon Srt4, 92' Eclipse GXS. Should be interesting.

It is called the Muncie Dragstrip but it sits right outside of Muncie on 67. It has a really shitty tree (stop light setup), and the place is only mediocre, but it is something to do if there is nothing else. Plus there is a Bikini Contest which always ends up with girls showing their *****, sometimes more.

I don't even know if I'll have my 7 there or not. It all depends on when I get the parts in. Hopefully they will come early and I can have the slave and master clutch cylinders swapped out by the night. Otherwise it looks like I'll be cruising in my friends AE86 Coupe. But either way, I am the only guy I know who owns an Rx7 that I hang out with.

So when I am there tonight there is an FD with decal or something going down the side, sounded mean. It was red, said something like "Gohan" or something like that on the side... What I didn't understand about it is that it ran a 15 flat when I saw it run. Anybody know this car, and if so do you know why it ran such a slow time?

I don't think it matters really. You just run and whatever you get they set a time delay or something against other cars in bracket racing. Its not really domestics vs. imports, it is just mainly running. Calling it domestics vs. imports is just to give it a name.

It's all in the driver bud. I've been to a few of the last Revolutions and there were so many FD's running 15's and 16's in the quarter mile, most of which had mods and the track was dry.

That's pretty funny. There were several of the "in the know" import guys up at Halls last year talking about how badly that car would whoop on my Grand Prix.

The same Grand Prix ran a 13.3@107 in full street trim, full tank of gas and stereo in it, on 5 cylinders in 96* 100% humidity weather. At Muncie. Should go 12.5-12.6 range in good weather and proper prep this year. That's hilarious.

Well judging by the sound it definitely looked like it was going to hit low 12's, high 11's. It sounded like a bridgeport, with a nasty single turbo. Who knows though. I only saw it run once, and that was that. I don't know if it had something to do with tuning, or driver, or what. I just saw it run a 15, was dumbfounded, then called it a night.

A nasty bridgeport and a badly tuned stock port sound eerily familiar though.

It's a nice looking car at any rate.
